ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: First of all, congratulations!! Did you ever see this coming? MORGAN WILLETT: I never in a million years saw this coming. You know, I went into the house with the mindset of “I don’t want to be the first houseguest evicted. If I can make it past the first week, and I’m not the first one out, I’m happy.” And then, at the halfway point, I was like, “Oh my god, I’m at the halfway!” And then I made it through the double eviction, and then somehow I was sitting in the finale and I was just like, “This is incredible, even if I get third place, I am so proud of myself.” And then the fact that I won, I’m sure you could tell by my reaction when Julie showed me my name, that I was just in utter disbelief. But I was just so excited.
Has it sunk in yet? It really hasn’t. I even woke up this morning and I didn’t know where I was. I was like, “Why am I not in the Big Brother house? Why am I not being woken up by this terrifying voice.” It’s still so surreal.
When you were sitting in the final two next to Jason, did it cross your mind that he had a preexisting fan base? I had that in the back of my head the whole time. I was just like, “OK Morgan, don’t expect to win, Jason has a huge following, I mean, shoot, America voted him in the house, they’re going to vote for him to win.” But I knew I’d be so happy with second place. I was honestly very shocked at the results, I thought Jason had it in the bag for sure. Read on here: http://www.ew.com/article/2016/12/02/big-brother-ott-morgan-talks-win
