May have been based on pre show interviews.

I saw them all and listened to many podcast on BB. Alex immediately reminded me of Pao Pao. Why? Her looks and how she answered Jeff. I thought Dominique came off like she would stir the pot, as per other house guest of the past. Many of these BB19 hg are not what we (I) initially thought. I guess I should not judge a book by its cover. Who knew a few years ago that Steven Moses would win in week 3. Last year I thought Paulie was one the best players I'd ever seen around this time. BOY WAS I WRONG!! Being of Hispanic decent I do not take your statement as "race baiting" at all. It's just a game we all enjoy watching. I love to read
what others have to say, because you never know what you might learn. I am in my mid 60's,
I am a retired math teacher and coach and I play music on the side. ( I know who cares? )Point I'm trying to make, like I tried to make to kids was, " keep you're eyes and ears open, because we are forever learning". CoyoteBB enjoy the season and thank you for your post.

xx * Maybe if BB recruited actual players and not characters to fit their narrative, it wouldn't happen so often. NT

xx * Exactly. First impressions are usually lasting, and the first impression we nearly always get of people is a visual one. Even moreso for a TV show

xx * This is very common for people to do and it is rarely consciously or intended racism. It happens w sports figures a lot. It’s kind of a lazy short

xx * It's sociological, even primal, to make comparisons via clinal variations imo. Comparing Dom to Zakiyah is nuts though; Jessica seems closer to me!

xx * Thanks! Even though they cast very stereotypically, I still enjoy the social experiment aspect of the show and seeing how the HGs respond to power and

xx * I think to create order and understand things - we put people into boxes. Not just race/sexual orientation - but also common personalities traits

xx * Thank you for this thoughtful response. It does make sense. We do tend to over generalize and stereotype people. I think you have a great point about

xx * Yes, I realize that. This is a BB forum though so I'm relating it to that. Why do you think that is? NT
