Kelli Boyle JUNE 27, 2025, 5:08 PM After weeks in limbo, NBC has canceled Grosse Pointe Garden Society after one season. It won’t be moving to Peacock like the team had reportedly hoped. The network didn’t trust the show’s ability to grow its audience on the NBC streaming platform after evaluating viewership data, according to Deadline. This was reportedly determined by the fact that Season 1’s streaming numbers on Peacock after the finale aired on May 16 were not substantial. Moving to Peacock is said to have been its only hope for renewal, as its NBC viewership was too low to continue. The series first got a Sunday primetime air time, but it was quickly moved to Fridays after just a few episodes came out.
