'Tracker' star Justin Hartley teased he's working on a new movie while appearing on the 'I Am an Actor' podcast ahead of season 4 airing on October 10 on CBS

Fans know that season 4 of Justin’s hit show, Tracker, is currently filming, and we even have a premiere date: October 4 on CBS. And while getting ready for the next season is certainly enough, Justin recently revealed he has also been working on a new project.

When Justin appeared on the July 16 episode of the I Am an Actor podcast, he spoke about his career in the spotlight and how he balances that with time away from the cameras. But at around the 52-minute mark, Justin surprised hosts Jamie Chung and Jon Brockett by revealing he has a new film in the works. What’s more, he’ll be reuniting with Ken Olin, who has directed Justin in episodes of both This Is Us and Tracker throughout the years.

“I have a movie in the works that I’m really excited to do,” he revealed in the video posted on YouTube. “I get to play a Southern lawyer. Really cool thriller, and I’m excited to be doing that with Ken Olin as well. He’s going to direct that. We’re doing that—stay busy, right?”

Well, this is definitely an exciting development in Justin’s world! And let’s not forget that this isn’t the only project he has in the works outside of Tracker.

As he shared with his followers on Instagram back in June, Justin is developing a new TV show for ABC under his Change Up Productions company. Titled A Forgotten Kill (based on the Isabella Maldonado novel of the same name), he teased his excitement for one more gig on his résumé.

“Pretty excited about this one!!” he wrote at the time alongside a screenshot of the Deadline announcement. “Stay tuned.”
