Big Brother’s house is open once more! Every week, Parade’s Mike Bloom will be bringing you interviews with this season’s houseguests as they get evicted from the game.
La Trice “Lala” Verrett has led by far the most varied life out of any houseguest on Big Brother 28. Across 58 years of life, the boutique salesperson has won a Grammy Award, created a career as a professional bodybuilder, and had four children. And she was eager to make her time in the house another notable accomplishment, becoming the oldest winner in the show’s history. Unfortunately, while Lala was able to break a record or two during her 59 days in the house, she did not hit her ultimate goal. The singer was sent packing to the jury house after a series of up and (mostly) down notes in the game.
