While responding to a reported house fire in Aurora, Illinois, officers found the adopted dog in a smoke-filled room. Once they removed the gate from the door, the good boy led the officer through the house, and directly to his leash, which the officer used to take the pup to safety. Take a look at the video above to see the rescue. The family later thanked rescuers for saving their beloved pet, whom they said enjoys snuggling, sleeping, peanut butter and snoring loudly.
