Noah Newman leaving Y&R is not a rumor anymore, it is Monday’s episode. In the August 3 hour of The Young and the Restless, Noah sits Sharon Newman down at Crimson Lights and tells her that he and Sienna Bacall are moving back to Los Angeles, far away from Matt Clark. Lucas Adams is out after nine months, Tamara Braun goes with him, and Genoa City loses another Newman.
Sharon takes it with tears and a brave face. She admits she still does not trust Matt Clark, then agrees the move is probably for the best. Nick Newman is not even in the room. Noah’s father is in rehab, haunted by nightmares that he failed to protect his son. Noah calls the absence temporary, and nobody watching believes that line was written to stick….
