By Chris Eades June 23, 2025 COMMENTS Another shocking casting announcement as Days of Our Lives recasts the role of Chad DiMera with Young and Restless’s Conner Floyd, who is currently playing Chance on the CBS soap. Deadline is reporting that Floyd is set to begin taping at DAYS on June 23, but given how far ahead the Peacock soap tapes, he won’t begin airing as Chad until April 2026. The role of Chad DiMera was originated by Casey Deidrick back in 2009, and after his exit in 2013, Flynn took over in 2014. In March 2025, news broke that Flynn was exiting DAYS after 11 years to join the cast of Y&R as a recast of Cane Ashby.
