 A few backup QBs have won SBs, but they all got a chance to play some games in the regular season first going into the playoffs. I don't remember any having to take over (and winning) in the middle

If this were the regular season, I'd have slight hope he could step in, play some games, then maybe do something in the playoffs. But not just stepping into the AFC Championship game like this. Especially since so much of our success is based on Bo's clutch 4th quarter magic. His scrambling ability is a huge part of it, and Stidham doesn't have that. Our running game is lousy with Dobbins out, and this will make us one-dimensional sitting ducks. Nix was our leading rusher yesterday. RBs had just 41 yards. Even though we'll be playing at home, it would take a miracle to win this one, let alone the SB.
Oh well, Seahawks look like they're peaking at the right time and will probably trounce anyone anyway.
