The two share a special bond as Star was a single mother that raised Jalon in Los Angeles. Jalon even created a nonprofit called MOM2JD6 that's dedicated to single mothers raising athletic children His only Power 5 offer was to Kansas and he was fully committed to the Jayhawks. He spent six seasons in Lawrence and went undrafted in this year's draft, ultimately signing a UDFA deal with the Bucs and winning the backup QB job Report Remind Me Link
