The priority typically goes to the #1 seeds. Part of the advantage of earning the #1 seed. For the divisional round, the #1 seeds usually get the Saturday slot, 01/13/26 09:15 AM

so they have 13 days since the season finale game and 8 days before the conference championship. They don't want to give any lower seeds an advantage over the #1 seeds. That's another reason why winning the #1 seed is so important, making every regular season game so important.
Then as far as who hosts the first game of the day vs the later game, that's usually time zone (especially for outdoor stadiums). In this case, all 4 are outdoors (DEN, NE, SEA, CHI). Since DEN and SEA are the #1s playing Saturday, SEA is the later time zone thus has the late game. For Sunday, CHI is the later time zone thus has the late game.
