Mary Cooper’s future inGeorgie & Mandy’s First Marriagehas received an update ahead of season 3.

Since the launch of The Big Bang Theory spinoff, Zoe Perry has remained one of its most important recurring players. Reprising the role she originated in Young Sheldon, Perry’s Mary has helped bridge the gap between the two series while also exploring the aftermath of George Cooper Sr.’s death. As Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage has continued to establish its own identity, Mary has become increasingly important to the show’s ongoing storylines.

However, according to a new report from TVLine, audiences should not expect Perry to be promoted to series regular status for season 3. Series co-creator Steve Holland told the outlet that there are currently no additions planned for the show’s series-regular ensemble heading into its third season; however, Holland still emphasized just how important Perry remains to the series.
