Warning! Spoilers ahead for Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage season 2, episode 9, "Payback and a Partial Shebang."Just before it celebrates its very first Christmas on the screen, CBS effectively replaces Meemaw in Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage season 2. The Big Bang Theory franchise's newest spinoff may not have that many ties to the nerd-centric sitcom, but it shares its love of the Yuletide season. While Young Sheldon sidelined the holiday entirely, Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage revives the Christmas episode tradition in its sophomore year.
In its two-part fall finale for the 2025-2026 TV season, Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage season 2 tackles two entirely different storylines. Its final half hour is devoted to the McAllisters' plan to celebrate Christmas in Miami, as part of Jim and Audrey's gift to their kids. However, arguably the more interesting plot is the first half of the special, as Georgie and Ruben get into their very first serious conflict as Fagenbacher attempts to drive a wedge between them.
Amid that chaos, Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage season 2 also finds its perfect Meemaw replacement.
