What is your favorite childhood memory? Family vacations. We always took a special trip once a year. One time we chartered a sailboat with a captain around the British Virgin Island for 10 days. We lived on the boat, ate, slept, showered, etc. It was an amazing experience. The Top 20 Beatles album will forever remind me of that trip.
What is your all-time favorite book and why? Honestly, I don’t love to read, but I did enjoy reading the first 150 pages or 50 Shades of Grey. Then I just saw the movie.
If you could be any fruit or vegetable, which one would it be? I would say a banana. I have a protective outer skin, but quickly I become very easy to talk to and get to know. I’m very sweet and mix well with many things/types of people. And at times I can be “mushy” when I really love someone.

What is the most romantic present you have ever received and why? A journal with handwritten entries from every day of our vacation Europe together. It was cool to look back and read on the memories and how he was feeling each day.

What is a typical Saturday night like for you? Sitting on the back patio with my sister, BBQ’ing and drinking some beers. My mini-horse and chocolate lab always hang with us too.
If you wanted to approach a man you had never met before, how would you go about it? Shoot, I do this all the time! It’s called you walk and ask the guy a question. It’s not rocket science. PS – Ass grabbing always works great!
Do you consider yourself neat or messy? Neat! OCD neat! My house is always put together and ready for company.
Are you a little bit country or more of a city person? Country through and through.
Do you have a serious fear of any kind of animal? Snakes. I’ll chop their heads off with a shovel if I find them on our property!
If you could be any animal, which one and why? Kangaroo. They kick ass. Literally.
If you’re interested in someone, do you tend to become shy or out-going? I try to watch my mouth when I’m around them, but honestly I’m never happy if I’m not being my complete self. I’d rather just put it all out there early on and let them decide if they can handle it.

What is your most embarrassing moment? Nothing embarrasses me! I hate to say that. Maybe the time I set the record for time spent stuck in an elevator my freshman year of college.
What does being married mean to you? Marriage is spending life’s ups and downs with your best friend. It’s all about compromise, a commitment to give and take, love someone more than you love yourself. Accepting each other fully, flaws and all!
What’s your guiltiest pleasure of any kind? French fries. I could eat them for every single meal and I keep trying to give them up and I just don’t have the willpower.
What are you most afraid of? I don’t fear much except ending up alone. I’ve been on my own so much and I’m so independent. I would hate to wake up one day with everything I’ve worked so hard for but there’s no one in bed next to me.
If you could be a fictional character, who would you be, and why? Katniss Everdeen! She is one tough cookie and I admire her strength and her drive to survive, succeed and protect her family. She can go up against the boys!

What do you hope to get out of participating in "The Bachelor"? At some point I stopped believing in love again. I thought something was wrong with me or I’m just so busy that I don’t want anyone in my life. Maybe this get away will help to open my eyes and meet someone special. And even if it doesn’t happen on the show, I believe this show will help me with my hopes and loss.
