Several days ago, a Joker (call her JJ, JokersJustice) came to our chat, asked if I knew a producer. She claimed she knew (and could show proof) either the Survivor winner or one of the finalists.
Our lead chat op said "Well, the Survivor Finale won't even air for a month, at least."
She's correct, in normal times. But, what if Burnett was smart enough to shoot the thing (a much smaller version) several weeks back, as a "just in case" scenario? We could be giving him more credit than he's due, but I personally believe he might have been smart enough to do just that. And if not, this Survivor likely is in the final.
How JJ Learned About This Finalist
JJ was in a Facebook chat, discussing the merits of various remaining Survivors. She had a distinct dislike for one of them, and was in a rather heated discussion about it (as such things go.)
The other woman vehemently demanded, "How could you not like him?"
"It's simply my opinion," JS replied.
"You sure have a lousy winner picker," the other woman shot back. "Because So and So won!"
JS, being the smart cookie she is, grabbed a screencap before the woman deleted her words (which she promptly did.) She'd claimed to be this guy's aunt: JS did a bit of research and found the woman was indeed whom she said she was.
So, Who is this Survivor Winner/Finalist?
JS first shared only that the guy had tractor tattoos, in particular a John Deere tat that he keeps covered in a mysterious bandage. We were lost! I mean, really. A TRACTOR TATTOO?
Personally, I have trouble just remembering some of their names.
If you are much more into Survivor than we are (much MUCH more,) you might be aware of Ben's tattoos. And there's your leak, as odd as it may seem: Ben Driebergen is either the winner or a finalist.
And with a little research, we discovered What Is Under Ben Driebergen's Bandagge on 'Survivor'? JS had much right, including that tattoo. Not to mention those precious screencaps.
What About That Producer?
Yes, we know producers. Unfortunately, not a Survivor producer. I do, however, know another such creature (from another very popular reality show on the same network). With due diligence, I contacted them with this information and the response? "I don't know a Survivor producer." Period. Ummm, same network and all?
Can't really blame him. In these dreadful times, especially for New York and California, why would he care about spilling the (possible) winner or finalist of a show not even his? Why would JJ, for that matter?
JJ feels that Survivor contestants are under very severe contracts not to divulge a thing that happens during that shoot (before and after, too!) In her eyes, Ben spilled his final position to his aunt. Who, in a fit of pique spilled it on Facebook, therefore possibly spoiling the end of the Survivor with the largest prize in history.
By my logic, in a time when our country (and the world) are in serious trouble and every day brings a new heartbreak, a bit of distraction is a fine thing - even if it revolves around a hidden John Deere tattoo.
