Let me ask. If that boat had not shown up with the advantage and it really was keep your vote/lose your vote competition, would you be calling her stupid for telling the truth? She would be in

exact same position but not lying. Also, if she lies about having a different advantage, then she could be put in the position of someone (Joe who's the possibility for an alliance) saying "Can I see it?" and that's not a good situation either as then he might use that info to save himself at her expense. Them being in the dark is the best case(not a great one but best case) scenario for her. Also, there is a slight possibility that Survivor might want to stir the pot with Jeff (right beforoe an immunity challenge) asking her, Colby and Mike about their trip and then Colby could corroborate her story while Mike would at least not be able to shoot it down. It's always best to keep your enemies in the dark if you can't use your advantage to threaten them. Oh and there's also the possibility that if some miracle happens and Ciree doesn't cost them another immunity challenge for awhile, that there will be a tribe swap of some sort and she can wind up on tribe with Colby and/or Rizo. And as I said, that block a vote might save her if her current tribe decides to split their votes between her and Joe. She made the right choice.
