Just watched the last episode. Hyperbole on steroids. Yeah, the winner gets an extra mil. As a viewer, it's a "that's nice" moment. When Tony got 2 mil, it seemed appropriate as he beat a bunch

of winners. And the only thing special about this season is it's #50 with all returning players, only 2 that were winners and one got medevaced. So let's get to the 2nd part of this "monumental"<<<<(sarcasm) twist. To me this was no different than if Devens had volunteered to go to exile island and got to flip a coin for a safe-at-tribal plus an immunity idol vs having his torched snuffed and no vote. Problem is if it was handled that way, CBS wouldn't have been able to fire up the hyperbole like they did. Over the 50 seasons of Survivor, lots of moments and unexpected twists left me, as a viewer going "WOW". This wasn't one of them. It was a twist, just not as historic or overwhelming as they made it out to be. And in the end, all it meant was Devens was safe for at least another few days and Stephanie is going home a few days earlier if she wasn't wasn't going home this time which I'm not sure of. This season has been somewhat entertaining so far. But as it stands now there's only one person I'd like to see win that two mil and that seems as likely as me winning the lottery without buying a ticket. Devens. He seems like the most normal person left and also the one adding the most fun to the season.
