Even a robotic scientist can get it wrong on Survivor. When he heard that one of his alliance members was targeting another one of his alliance members, Christian Hubicki made the wrong call and he made that wrong call because he put a friendship before the game in yet another example of outside relationships directly affecting Survivor 50.

While it was disconcerting that Mike wanted to make a move against Emily, Christian was blinded by making a big move instead of making a smart move. That move would have been to take out Emily. She has not only played one of the very worst games so far by leaking so much sensitive information but in doing that she is a massive liability to Christian’s game. The right move would have been for him to vote her out before she does any more damage no matter what the fallout would have been in the outside world. If Emily wasn’t willing to accept how poorly she played then that would have been on her not him.
