In 2025, Stephen King had several hit adaptations, including two TV shows. While It: Welcome to Derry was arguably the biggest one, MGM+'s The Institute became a sleeper hit.
The sci-fi horror series was very popular and scored a Season 2 renewal one month after its July release.
