Starring Hollywood icons Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford, 1923 follows in the footsteps of fellow spin-off 1883 which starred Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. In 1923, the focus is on the Dutton family in the late 19th century as they made their way from Texas to Montana, struggling to survive the drought, prohibition and cattle theft. The first series on Paramount+ went down a storm with subscribers so it wasn’t too much of a surprise when it was renewed for a second season. However, this new series is going to look different from the first after its creators gave an update on shooting the Western drama.
