‘Only Murders in Building’ Gets Big Name Change as First Look & Season 6 Premiere Date Revealed

Only Murders in the Building is getting a makeover for its sixth season at Hulu as the comedy series starring Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, and Martin Short appropriately changes its title to Only Murders in London, as the series heads across the pond for a star-studded adventure.

Along with unveiling the name change, Hulu also shared the Season 6 premiere date and several first-look images of Charles (Martin), Mabel (Gomez), and Oliver (Short) on the investigation track. Only Murders in London will officially premiere on Tuesday, December 8, on Hulu and Disney+ with new installments dropping each Tuesday for fans to enjoy.

It’s the perfect holiday-timed TV as Only Murders in London harkens back to classic British mysteries. As fans will recall, Season 5 concluded with the demise of podcast guru Cinda Canning (Tina Fey), and after successfully bringing the guilty to justice once again, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel hope to do the same with Cinda’s case, which brings them to London in order to catch her killer.

As the logline teases, the beloved trio of crime-solving podcasters must navigate their way through a cozy murder mystery that includes a whole new collection of suspicious and eccentric English characters, among some of whom are played by new guests Olivia Colman, David Tennant, Nicola Coughlan, Martin Freeman, and more. Along with Martin, Gomez, and Short, Season 6 of the series will see the return of Meryl Streep as Oliver’s love, Loretta.
