Resident Alain has spent a few seasons quietly building one of television’s most devoted fan bases, thanks in no small part to Alan Tudyk‘s delightfully oddball performance as Harry Vanderspeigle, an extraterrestrial stranded on Earth while posing as the doctor of a tiny Colorado town.

Equal parts sci-fi adventure, workplace comedy, and heartfelt character drama, the series has earned a reputation as one of those rare shows that’s almost impossible to neatly categorize.

Now, with Season 4 officially streaming on Netflix, the quirky USA Network and Syfy favorite is finding a whole new audience — and giving longtime fans the perfect excuse to revisit Harry’s latest misadventures.

After racing through the show’s newest episodes, however, many viewers are left wondering whether this is simply the latest chapter or the end of the story altogether.
