He and many of the original cast members from The Sandlot are re-teaming on a new comedy series from Renna and Kyle Howard, to be produced through their prodco Hambino Media. The series marks the first official reunion of the original cast since the release of the 1993 coming-of-age sports film more than three decades ago. Dugout Dads will star Renna with appearances across the season from Tom Guiry, Chauncey Leopardi, Marty York, Brandon Quintin Adams, Victor DiMattia, Shane Obedzinski, Grant Gelt, and Will Horneff.
