Poker Face‘s second season came to a close in July 2025 on Peacock, and although the series was canceled as of November 2025, it’s possible fans haven’t seen the last of the series featuring human lie-detector Charlie Cale. According to a report from Deadline, creator Rian Johnson is far from abandoning the TV project, and his vision for the show’s future also involves a major casting change. We’re breaking down everything you need to know about the show’s potential future as Poke Face Season 3 remains in limbo.
Has Poker Face been renewed for Season 3?
According to Deadline, Poker Face will not return for Season 3 on Peacock, but Johnson isn’t calling it quits on the show’s potential future and is currently shopping the show around to other networks for a possible two-season deal. The plan also involves recasting the role of Charlie Cale to Peter Dinklage, but Natasha Lyonne would continue her executive producer role behind the scenes.
The outlet shared a statement from Johnson and Lyonne, which said, “We’ve been germinating this next move together since writing the season two finale. We love our Poker Face, and this is the perfect way to keep it rolling. Give us a beat, and we may just see Charlie Cale again down that open highway.” So, while Poker Face may not be back for Season 3 at Peacock, we’re keeping our eyes open for Season 3 elsewhere….
