Zach Braff Teases Next ‘Scrubs’ Season, Return of ‘Fan Favorites’

The second revival season of Scrubs is “gonna be even better than the first,” according to star and executive producer Zach Braff, who is hyping up the return of fan-favorite characters.

“I feel like we all learned so much in doing Season 1. So we learned what the audience really liked. We learned the tone,” Braff told People at the world premiere of the film Clean Hands at New York City’s Village East by Angelika theater on Sunday, June 7, as part of the Tribeca Film Festival.

He added, “More guest stars will be back for the fans. I’ll tease that. Or we’re booking a lot of their fan favorites as we speak.”

After more than a decade and a half off air, Scrubs hit ABC with a nine-episode revival in February. At the end of April, ABC announced that the medical comedy had been renewed. And the following month, the network scheduled the revival to return this fall instead of holding it for midseason, as it did with Season 1.….
