Shifting Gears Season 2 has added Jesse Williams to its cast in a recurring role. The ABC sitcom revolves around Matt Parker (played by Tim Allen), whose life takes a new turn when his daughter Riley (played by Kat Dennings) and her children move in with him, forcing him to face new challenges. Jesse Williams will play the role of Andy, a single dad who will strike a connection with Riley.
Shifting Gears Season 2 premiered on ABC on October 1, 2025. The season will comprise 13 episodes. Jesse Williams will join the cast that also includes Seann William Scott, Daryl “Chill” Mitchell, Maxwell Simkins, and Barrett Margolis. Williams is known for playing the celebrated role of Dr. Jackson Avery on Grey’s Anatomy. He has also appeared in other successful projects such as Only Murders in the Building, Hotel Costiera, Little Fires Everywhere and Lee Daniels’ The Butler.…
