...The first two seasons featured civilians and Netflix is now taking a leaf out of The Traitors’ playbook and bringing in a cluster of celebrities for the third run.
Wilson will be joined by a number of other reality stars, comedians, athletes and actors. They are: Olympian Adam Rippon, Adam Scherr, a WWE wrestler better known as Braun Strowman, influencer and podcaster Brianna LaPaglia, better known as Brianna Chickenfry, Somebody Somewhere star Bridget Everett, Love Island USA star Chelley Bissainthe, Chloe Veitch, host of Netflix’s Sneaky Links, former SNL star Chris Redd, Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn, Scream star David Arquette, Perfect Match star Dom Gabriel, The Office’s Melora Hardin and Everything’s Trash’s Phoebe Robinson.
The show, which comes from Brent Montgomery’s Wheelhouse, brings together a group of strangers, in this case celebrity contestants, who must outwit their competition and identify the recipient of a million dollars hiding among them. Sequestered in a lavish mansion, in each of their rooms is a mysterious welcome gift — a box. The majority of them are empty, and one contains $1,000,000, and it’s for that guest to keep — as long as they keep their identity hidden.
The series is hosted by Peter Serafinowicz and will return in 2027.
It launched in March 2025 with good ratings, making it to number three on Netflix’s top ten English-language TV list with 3.7M views in its first week and adding another 3M views in its second week.
The second season launched in April and it also made the top ten in its first week with 2.6M views.
The series is exec produced by Montgomery, Glenn Hugill, Will Nothacker and Russ Friedman, and showrunner Charles Wachter.
