reckless teen driver who fractured the lives of a Georgia family has been sentenced to 65 years in prison.
After a week of deliberations, Luke Garrett Resecker, 19, was sentenced to 65 years by a Johnson County, Texas jury for the head-on crash, which occurred on December 26, 2023.
The crash, which occurred near Cleburne, killed six members of a visiting Georgia family traveling in a minivan. Prosecutors argued that Resecker was under the influence of marijuana when he crossed onto oncoming traffic on U.S. Highway 67 near Country Road 1119 outside Cleburne the day after Christmas Day in 2023. …..
