Kirsten Storms took to social media late Sunday night (June 7) to address the recent restraining order filed against her by her ex-husband and former General Hospital co-star, Brandon Barash.
The soap star shared a lengthy statement in a carousel of Instagram posts, noting how the topic was “difficult to address” and writing, “I’m sure some of you guys have read the stories online regarding a situation involving something my ex-husband is currently trying to claim.”
In April, Barash obtained an emergency restraining order against Storms after he claimed she was suffering from a mental health crisis. Barash said he feared for their 12-year-old daughter’s well-being after Storms was exhibiting concerning behavior. Barash and Storms divorced in 2016, and the former got remarried in 2025.
Storms addressed a “story online stating I reported the apartment break-in AFTER he filed something against me in court,” claiming that “the records/evidence will show those stories are completely false.”….
