For its 55th season, The Price Is Right is going big. Not only is the game show celebrating host Drew Carey‘s 20th season, but it will also have its first live episode. The dates for those special occasions have been revealed, as well as other details about them.
The live episode, which will be a first for the game show, was first announced in April. It originally said that it was set to air around Christmas, but the date wasn’t quite set. Now, the special live event will air at night on a weekend.
The Price Is Right: Live Holiday Special will air on Sunday, December 13, for one hour at 8ET/PT. The high-stakes, must‑watch primetime holiday television event will unfold as it happens, raising the pressure with every passing second. Viewers will get to see unprecedented behind-the-scenes access alongside Carey, announcer George Gray, the models, and the production team as they race to keep the show on track by resetting games, transforming the stage, and beating the clock….
