‘Jeopardy!’s Jamie Ding & Ben Affleck Are Teaming Up on ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’

A new group of celebrities wants to try to win $1 million for their chosen charities on the upcoming season of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? The lineup was announced on July 9, and it includes a Jeopardy! champion and Jeopardy! host.
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? celebrity edition has a pair of stars team up to answer questions that get more difficult as the money rises. If they get the $25,000 question correct, they are guaranteed to take at least that amount home, even if they get one wrong later in the game. The top prize is, obviously, $1 million.
31-game Jeopardy! champion Jamie Ding will compete on this season, alongside Ben Affleck. Last year, Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings competed with Affleck’s best friend, Matt Damon. They won $1 million for their charities. Can this pair of new BFFs win the same amount?
Ding won a total of $885,605 on Jeopardy! and quickly became a fan-favorite. He will return for the Tournament of Champions, but fans don’t have to wait to see him on another game show for that long…
