Jon Husted in Ohio’s special U.S. Senate election, The Associated Press projects, in a race both parties spent heavily to win. The former three-term Senator will return to Washington, his victory flipping a Republican-held seat and restoring Ohio’s split Senate delegation the state previously held for 18 years, before Republican Bernie Moreno unseated Brown in 2024.
