Trump's polls plunge, but delulu Donald doesn't live in reality
Donald Trump isn't living in reality. He's not allowing real poll numbers or facts about war or high food prices to permeate his bubble.

Let’s take a moment to read some actual words posted on social media by the actual president of the United States of America.
On Aug. 3, Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social: “My REAL Polling Numbers, not those made up by the Fake News Media, are the best they have ever been.”
It’s an insult to fiction to call that fiction. I’m not sure what you call something more fabricated than fiction – maybe “ludicriction”? – but that’s what Trump’s words are.

As The New York Times recently reported, “The latest surveys indicate that Mr. Trump is now all but the most unpopular second-term president at this stage of their tenure in the history of polling going back to the 1940s. The only exception is not one that would give Mr. Trump much solace: Richard M. Nixon had even less public support at this stage in his second term but at that point he was just days away from resigning over the Watergate scandal.”
But that’s reality. Trump isn’t living in reality. He’s not allowing real numbers or facts about war or struggling Americans or high food prices to permeate his bubble. He’s living in a world where everything is amazing, and he’s to thank for all of it, and any claim otherwise is fake news.
If Trump can lie about everything, why can't the rest of us?

It has been this way for a solid decade, but it has gotten worse of late. (Or, if you’re Trump, it has gotten better.) Yet despite a full-on break with reality, the man is still allowed to be president.
Well, heck, if the president can do it, so can we.
I find reality every bit as distasteful as Trump does (largely because he’s in it), so I’m officially departing and moving my stuff into whatever la-la land the president now calls home.

Here then is my official statement of relocation:
My REAL abs, not the ones I see in FAKE MIRRORS, are the best they have ever been. Thanks to my TOTAL AND COMPLETE victory over desserts and an exercise routine many say couldn’t be matched by someone half my age, I now have a rock-hard six-pack that would make Chris Hemsworth blush.
Any suggestions that my abs are “actually more of one ab” – or “look like someone who shot for a dad bod and failed” – are either FAKE NEWS or lies coming from Country Destroying Dumocrats.
REAL AMERICANS know my abs have never looked better, and they are loving the GOLDEN AGE OF MY ABS, which I promised would come. Radical-left reflective surfaces keep trying to suggest I lost the battle of the bulge, but all they know how to do is hate, hate, hate.
They can’t stand my success, or my status as AMERICA’S GREATEST COLUMNIST and someone who has never once made a tyop. Remember, the only truth is what I tell you. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
