The bill will likely be vetoed but is almost certainly going to be overridden. The bill invalidates current drivers licenses and birth certificates of trans people who have amended them previously to align with their gender identity. This is one of the most extreme bill to pass. This is the first state to pass a statute that invalidates existing licenses and birth certificates. We may see more states pass similar legislation this year. This is the next step they're moving towards.
