Chicago Fire casts a new Deputy District Chief ahead of season 14 winter premiere
A new face is about to join the Chicago Fire season 14 cast with the addition of a new Deputy District Chief within the CFD.

It seems a new face will be entering the mix when Chicago Fire season 14 resumes in the new year!
On December 3, Chicago Fire star Dermot Mulroney took to his Instagram Stories to share a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of season 14. In the photo, Mulroney appears alongside several of his Chicago Fire co-stars including Miranda Rae Mayo, Joe Minoso, Hanako Greensmith, and David Eigenberg, but it’s the inclusion of a new face to the show that caught the attention of One Chicago Center.
Also appearing in the photo is actor Max Martini (The Unit, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi), whose character can clearly be seen wearing a Chicago Fire Department-issued jacket for a Deputy District Chief. No further context is provided, however, it seems that Martini will be dropping into the Windy City when season 14 resumes in the new year to play a newly introduced Deputy District Chief within the CFD….
