Nick Reiner, the son of Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner, may enter a plea in Los Angeles court Monday on murder charges in the killing of his parents.
His arraignment, originally set for early January, was postponed after his lawyer, Alan Jackson, resigned from the case. Reiner has since been assigned a public defender.
The 32-year-old screenwriter is accused of fatally stabbing his parents. The couple was found dead in the primary bedroom of their Los Angeles home, police said. Authorities allege that Nick Reiner used a knife to kill his parents in "the early morning hours" of Sunday, Dec. 14, then "fled" the scene….
