Kim Kardashian may have had some nice things to say about ex-husband Kanye West in her new biography Citizen Kim, but a source tells In Touch that there’s still a lot of bad blood between him and momager Kris Jenner.
“Kanye has said the most heinous things about Kris, both publicly and privately, yet somehow, she’s the bad guy,” says the source. “He’s convinced himself that she’s the reason his marriage to Kim fell apart, that she was behind the scenes secretly sabotaging the whole time, turning Kim against him.”
As In Touch previously reported, the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” rapper, 49, called out his former mother-in-law, 70, on social media several times during his rocky six-year marriage and eventual divorce from Kim, 46, with whom he shares daughters North, 13, and Chicago, 8, and sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 7.
In a series of since-deleted 2020 tweets, he even alleged that she tried to get him “locked up” during a mental health episode.
“Considering the hell he put everyone through, it’s pretty rich he’s somehow shifted all the blame to Kris, but she’s enemy number one for him right now,” the source reveals. “He’s saying he doesn’t want anything to do with her.”
“Even a groveling apology from Kris probably wouldn’t satisfy him,” In Touch‘s source adds. “Not that she would ever offer one. She washed her hands of him a long time ago.”
Still, “it’s sad because Kris did care about him and she did so much to try and help him,” admits the source. “She hates that things have become so ugly, but she’s not chasing after him to make peace. She’s just relieved Kim isn’t married to him anymore.”….
