There was one bridesmaid missing from the Bridesmaids reunion on the Oscars stage Sunday night, but not because anyone had a falling-out over an excessive bachelorette trip or anything. Wendi McLendon-Covey was simply recovering from getting her neck done.
Shortly after five of the Bridesmaids stars reunited to present the Best Original Score award, McLendon-Covey posted an explanation for her absence on Instagram. Alongside a photo of her face wrapped in a medical bandage, the actor said she’d gotten some DMs about why she wasn’t there. “I had a neck lift last week because I’m tired of looking like a melting candle,” she wrote. “So I had to skip the Academy Awards. No drama. Everything is fine.”….
