Blue Bloods ran for 14 seasons on CBS. Its spinoff, Boston Blue, just wrapped its first — and a second is on the way. Danny Reagan's adventures in Beantown are just beginning.
That said, Boston Blue's first season was jam-packed with white-knuckle action, political intrigue, and, of course, loads of family drama. As Donnie Wahlberg’s hot-headed detective carved out a place in the Boston Police Department — where his son, Sean (Mika Amonsen), also took a job as a patrol officer — his partnership with Det. Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green) connected him to her family, a noted law enforcement dynasty not unlike his own back in New York City.
