Also Richard told Caroline that he "fought his corner" about the nomination implying that he was overruled. Maybe Richard meant by his trying to get Elsa up instead of Zelah but when Caroline told George what Richard had said, it seemed like George took it that Richard was trying to say he took part in the decision on who to give the second evil eye to which Richard didn't do. George then told Caroline he planned on speaking to Richard about that.
