As you can see, numerous past houseguests have complained of Grodner’s staff interfering with how they choose to play their game. Unfortunately, this is nothing new to Big Brother. However, we need to distinguish a difference here. It’s one thing to manipulate the houseguests, but another to deceive us; the Big Brother viewers.

We could have a great reality show if Grodner would stop manipulating the houseguests. A lot of you might think, "Hey, that's the game. Who cares? It is what it is." while not realizing that you are the one they’re deceiving.

We don’t want to be duped thinking a houseguest did something on their own accord (That’s how we choose who to root for!), only to realize later that the DR staff was directing them to do it. They need to stop manipulating the outcome of the show. (..and yes, we’re still talking about this as long as it still continues to happen.)

Many of us are long-standing loyal viewers, and that type of deception to a loyal viewer is just not good business.

Julie said that America could go to the CBS website and vote to have one of the evicted houseguests voted back into the house. After a week of voting, Julie takes away our choice and decides to allow the houseguests to choose. Why didn’t Grodner let us know about this in the beginning? It may have changed the way we voted or IF we even voted. But they didn’t allow us that option. They deceived the viewers and did not allow us to consider all aspects pertaining to the voting. We were duped by Grodner by way of a clever loophole. No matter how you look at it, it was very misleading and I don't understand how deceiving the public is applauded in the name of "Good TV".

I merely request that Grodner be straightforward with us and exclude the Big Brother viewers from their deceptions, we weren’t the ones that signed the contract to be a houseguest. It would be far more forthright if Julie would announce before each show that, what you are about to see is not reality and made purely for entertainment purposes and the houseguests may be directed and coached by the production crew.

If we let Allison Grodner know how we feel about the interfering of the Diary Room staff as well as the coaching, pressuring and other such deceptions towards how a houseguest plays their game, it could result in more honest results. If you agree, write Allison Grodner Productions or CBS.

This isn’t a letter of hate, since I truly enjoy watching Big Brother. It is an amazing study in social psychology, but rather a legitimate way to contact the people in charge of producing this show and submit our request to dispose of all the interference for the upcoming seasons. I believe that we would all appreciate a bit more reality in this reality show. I like the program; I often speak its praises and its good points, but also like to maintain the liberty to voice complaints about it when they arise in hopes for a better show in the future.

In the end, it's our decision how we spend our time as it passes…. by either watching fantasy or reality.
