They would not have come for him...Dee even wanted to take him to F2 potentially. Now that he has blown it all up, the others can sit back and let the remaining icons go after Barret and Drew while they have to focus on the remaining icons. Yash has no incentive to help Barrett any further here. Yash can let him go down while he pushes himself forward with clean hands. Taylor is also going to benefit because the icons aren't mad at her,, they are mad at Barrett and Drew (even though Drew was not on board for this, he gets the same blame). This is why Drew is so mad about the whole thing. It's not about being a lapdog, it's about this did not make good strategic sense. He knew they needed to get rid of the other side FIRST. Before shots fired. Now both Barrett and Drew have to fight for their lives against not only the other icons but Yash as well. Yeah, wanting to make a big move for clout doesn't work well if it doesn't make sense.

Here is the reason Barrett made a mistake with this move this early: You don't do the dirty work for others who benefit from it more than you do. Barrett was in a trusted position with the icons.
