Oh gosh, I find myself disgusted by Drew. Yash was right that he has no spine, and he's also selling out his 08/25/26 02:42 PM

real ally and friend, Melody - though it is true she's more bonded to Mallory. I feel like he has serious daddy issues with Devens, and mommy and big sister issues with Angela and Dee. They're playing him like a fiddle and no matter what they do to him, and what is clear when you open your eyes, he can't see it. When Barrett and Drew were so giddy when Devens called them "his boys"...it's like they're in the cult of the icons.
I have the feeling if he was married, he'd sell out his wife in the interests of fulfilling some mommy or daddy issues with an authority that's using him (could be a boss, a parent, some other figure that he sees as higher up than his partner). I think it's relationship with authority that bothers me so much.
Barrett bothers me a little less because, although he's similarly weak and has no backbone, he doesn't have the close/intimate relationship with Mallory that Drew has with Melody. Barrett is more bonded to Dee. Drew's betrayal of Melody this early in the game while he's still so physically intimate with her feels kind of yucky.
