JokersUpdates.com: BB Discussion - Might have already been discussed, but Paulie was on Summer of Stein last week and he confirmed what has been rumored (and also reflected in recent casting) that CBS/Paramount wants their shows to

cross cast. We saw the BB Amazing Race season and now Survivor players on BB. We also saw Jeff Probst on BB. It is pretty much guaranteed now that we will see BB players on Survivor. As The Traitors wins awards for casting and rockets in popularity and this season of BB has also increased viewership, this type of cross casting will continue at least in the short term.

I have mixed feelings because I do enjoy seeing my favorite players from different shows on my tv again. I am really hoping to see some of our Survivor superfan BB players show up on Survivor. For example, Izzy, Rachel or Claire. It would also be cool to finally have a trifecta complete!

I know this casting will get a big groan from a lot of the fanbase. I do understand that people who are trying to apply themselves might get frustrated if they believe "their position" is being taken by a returnee of some kind.

I also agree that I'd prefer to see returnees not get advantages (luckily this doesn't happen on Amazing Race and Survivor). I think the advantage of prior rtv experience and the disadvantage of having a target due to it weigh each other out - especially when there's more than one returnee.

I think Dee and Devens would be doing the same or even better without the disadvantage of Angela and without the targets of having powers, but BB production didn't give us a chance to see this playout. I get the argument. They come in with big targets from having played rtv strategy games before, so BB production wants to try and "balance" this. But, as demonstrated many times before, BB production tends to go too far one way or the other.

Just curious what others think? What returnees would you like to see play which shows? Do you think this is overall a good thing or not? Etc.
