has no social awareness and doesn't see that all the jokes and daps aren't enough. He doesn't realize that he's not trusted. Devens finally let him know how he was coming across a little bit. And, of course he knows that he's seen as being in the middle. But, his pov is that he's in a ton of alliances: the tool shed, crossovers, dapper dans, the duo with Melody, the duo with Barrett, the duo with Kamu (can't remember all the names).
