I decided to start a chat online with Paramount. I told them basically the same as you; that I was a loyal customer that wondered why all the discounts were only aimed at new or returning customers.

Yes, there are exceptions to who can get the new sales prices...unfortunately I am not eligible. I keep my account year-round and am not going to change plan.

It got me thinking though...what if I cancel today and become a 'returning" subscriber before the 13th? I imagine I could pay $2 instead of $26! NT

Sometimes if you go to cancel they'll try and keep you by offering you a free month, or another type of promotion. NT
