plan. He wanted to stick with them to get out the bigger threats...Rome, Jason, Red Corner, Yash. People he knows he can't beat down the line. He put together his FAP alliance with the people he actually wanted to play with and likes. He planned to go against the icons for them but the week they could have had power, he was the only one who didn't throw the HOH. He tried to win it while the other 3 were too scared to win and gave it to Dee. So Dee got a step ahead of them and took out Mallory because she saw this coming. At that point, Drew felt he was stuck staying with Crossovers because they still had Yash in the game and Melody won't go against him. Now he is the most screwed person in the house because the icons are terrible allies, Barrett and Melody are terrible allies and the other side hates him. So I see his point. It's just nobody else gets it. They are all helping Yash win the game. Oh well, I guess next week when he is in jury he can just say told you so as they all join him. Sigh.
