 Yep, just because talking about racism makes you uncomfortable how do you think certain black people feel by actually experiencing it. Racism has a very dark and insidious history

On Big Brother. Racial slurs, bullying and harassment specifically because of someone’s race was part of this shows history for over 20 years and still is. It got so horrific they started to put disclaimers ‘the houseguests don’t represent our views’ everytime you logged into the feeds. Then, to even the playing score, they created a diversity initiative with the 50/50 BIPOC. So if racism doesn’t exist, why did CBS and this show have to bust out with disclaimers and diversity initiatives? I do not think Drew is some klansmen - but he has said some suspect things about the black houseguests and seems very dismissive of them for no reason. I said he had an implicit bias and I’m sticking with it. Just because this conversation is uncomfortable doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be discussed when it’s been such a contentious part of this shows history.
