Survivor. Form an alliance, stick with it, and win challenges. She is trying to do the same here. The problem is that a lot more people are needed to form a majority alliance (only 4 were needed on Survivor). She got in an alliance based on her being in power and convenience - not based on connections and personalities. She was lucky on Survivor - she had 3 other likeminded people. With the tool shed, it’s too many diverse people who are making other connections and who don’t all like each other more than they like others.

So, Dee is trying to learn a new game, a while navigating new relationships and also being bored. As week 1 HOHs go, it was mid. There have been many worse and some better. This week she has bad reads on Lyric and Drew. But, every single person in the house has bad reads on others, too. We see more and have more information.

Dee is overestimated based on experience playing a completely different game. But, she is underestimated because viewers think what has happened to far is all that she is capable of.
