It’s Lala’s birthday! And how could it not be a happy one in the Big Brother house? The day started with a Happy Birthday song, there was a pool party, houseguests crafted a DIY birthday crown, Haley brought up menopause. Lovely stuff.
Talks around the first boot of the season continued. If you squinted your eyes and tilted your head, you could start to see two sides emerging for a Taylor v. Ashley matchup. Dee, Devens, Angela, Drew, and Barrett—the Crossovers—were backing Ashley to stay. They see her as a smart floater who they can bring in as a number. Their support only went so far though: campaign tips, let’s say, not campaigning for her themselves. That whole “I’m right behind you from over here” thing.
But their advice—not that novel let’s be real—was to go to the people who could be flipped (aha!). But her targets wound up being the people who are tight with Taylor but not so much with Yash, so that she could pull for their support if she ends up next to Yash for the vote.
The conversation we ended up seeing was between her and Taylor though. And they walked away in agreement that they need each other. Not a plan per se but a good mentality for them to have for sure.
And in a reverse Cinderella, the clock struck midnight and the Have-Nots were not Have-Nots anymore! The houseguests went to their version of a ball, the BB kitchen, and feasted on chips, chicken, and fries. Rome talked about how sleep-deprived he was.
Before bed Kamu said he was on board with keeping Ashley, and that seemed to cure whatever paranoia Angela had started feeling toward Drew. She said Drew worked his magic on him. But will the young wizard’s magic last until Thursday?
